Directions

Apply sparingly on wet or dry hair. Comb through with a wide-tooth comb or fingers to shape curls. For tight coils, kinky or wiry hair, or for twist out styles, apply to wet hair for maximum control and sealing properties. Allow time to dry. When using a blow-dryer choose a cool setting. Apply to dry hair to reduce flyaways and frizz.

I just want to start off by saying I absolutely LOVED this product before. It gives my thick curly hair perfect bounce, shine and a wonderful scent. I recently purchased a new one and I am very disappointed. This new formula has a jello consistency which is extremely hard to work with. I took chunks out and even warmed them in my hands to try and melt the product so that I may apply it, yet it was far too sticky and still chunky. I’m very sad because I had used this product for years but now I had to return it. I even went to about ten different stores to find the older version and was so incredibly lucky when I finally stumbled upon it today. Please change the formula back to the original.

I have used this to do twist outs and Wash n Go's It works very well for both. I have also used this as a leave in for whatever gel I want to iuse. It's very versatile for me. I will always have this as a backup when I run out of my arsenal of products.

Sheamoisture provides just that, a lot of moisture and has a really great hold. Depending on your hair type this could potentially be a little great but it certainly does its job.

If you have curly hair I definitely recommend shea moisture products. However, the gel soufflé is a favorite and a must have! Leaves my hair so pretty and curly all day long and I get lots of compliments. It doesn’t leave you that oily nasty feeling and leaves your hair really soft. It smells pretty good too!
